“Before you can make a dream come true, you must first have one.”
~ Ronald McNair (10/21/50 – 01/28/86. Age 37). PhD Physicist MIT, Saxophonist, Astronaut and Challenger mission specialist.
And….you do. Have a dream. (Probably quite a few!) Yet… too often folks measure their dream against others’ dreams, and judge their own dream, diminish its importance to Self, listen to the bull of OPOs, and either tuck that dream into a box in the Mind, or grab a stick of (as JJ would say on ‘Good Times’) dyno-mite and blow it all to kingdom come.
The thing about that box-in-the-Mind. It keeps unwrapping itself and popping open. At the most unsuspecting times. At the most vulnerable times. At those ‘lowest-point’ times. It reminds Self of what possibilities (and potentials) are part of your (and mine for me) unique Spirit and are still craving expression.
Once the Dream is allowed (by you) to re-release into this time and space, and a bit of thought and planning invites it into the Now, one may need a bit of modification in this Now, years (or decades) down the road. Okay. And??? The Dream is alive for a reason. Persistent for a reason.
If you are like I so often am, I spend time thinking about the reason for the persistence and what That means, vs looking at the essence of the Dream itself. Hmmmmm. Another way of wrapping it up in a box and tucking it away. Again. Sigh.
So whatcha-gonna-do? Need some motivation and inspiration? Find out about Ronald if you’re not familiar with the name. He’s a heck of a way-shower.
And… that ‘kingdom come’?
It does.
